Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO) statement on the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse and the Port of Baltimore’s closure to vessel traffic:

“The Committee is in touch with the federal agencies that are responding to and investigating the incident, including the Coast Guard, the Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration, and the National Transportation Safety Board.  At this stage, we need to make sure we’re not getting ahead of the facts, but as we continue to learn more, we will ensure that Members of Congress have all available information.  In the meantime, our prayers are with the victims and their families as the search continues, and we appreciate all those participating in the ongoing search and rescue operation.”
