Aviation Subcommittee to Hold Next FAA Reauthorization Hearing on the Aviation Workforce

Aviation Subcommittee Chairman Garret Graves (R-LA) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing next week focused on the aviation workforce. This will be the fifth hearing held in the Committee’s preparation for passing a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reauthorization bill this year. Previous hearings have focused on aviation safety, general aviation (GA), the passenger experience, and the evolution of flight and new technologies.

The hearing entitled, “FAA Reauthorization: Examining the Current and Future Challenges Facing the Aerospace Workforce,” will be held at 10:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
