Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Ranking Member Sam Graves (R-MO) today announced the appointment of Drew Feeley as Staff Director of the Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials.

“Drew has done great work since joining the Committee staff, and he will serve the Members of our Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials Subcommittee well in his new position,” said Graves.  “In addition, his experience working to streamline the infrastructure project delivery process will benefit Committee Members as we again prepare to reauthorize federal surface transportation programs this year.”

Last Congress, Feeley was closely involved in the development of several important Committee Republican legislative efforts, including the Surface Transportation Advanced through Reform, Technology, & Efficient Review (STARTER) Act (H.R. 7248), and a multi-committee initiative to improve the efficiency of infrastructure project reviews, the Building U.S. Infrastructure through Limited Delays & Efficient Reviews (BUILDER) Act (H.R. 8333).

Feeley first joined the Subcommittee as Senior Counsel in December 2019.  Prior to joining the Committee, Feeley served as Senior Counsel with the White House Council on Environmental Quality and as Policy Counsel with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); in both positions, he worked on infrastructure project permitting reform and the modernization of the federal environmental review process.  Feeley has also served on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, where he worked on energy and environmental issues.
