Hearing to Focus on Washington Metro Safety

The Subcommittee on Highways and Transit, chaired by U.S. Rep. Sam Graves (R-MO), will hold a hearing next week to examine the state of the Washington Metro system operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), and how the safety and reliability of the Metro can be improved.  

The Subcommittee hearing, entitled, “Improving the Safety and Reliability of the Washington Metro,” is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
