Subcommittee to Hold Hearing to Kick Off Development of Water Resources Development Act of 2026

Washington, D.C. – Water Resources and Environment Subcommittee Chairman Mike Collins (R-GA) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing to begin the process of developing the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) of 2026. Members will have the opportunity to hear testimony from water resources stakeholders, such as local officials, levee district managers, and others about their priorities for the upcoming WRDA. The hearing, entitled “Water Resources Development Act of 2026: Stakeholder Priorities,” will take place at 10:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
