Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on Consolidating Federal Real Estate

Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management Chairman Scott Perry (R-PA) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing to evaluate strategies to transform federal real estate by consolidating, relocating, and selling unused and underutilized spaces. The hearing builds on the March 2025 hearing about implementing the public buildings reforms signed into law last Congress and the Committee’s ongoing efforts to right-size the federal real estate footprint and save money for the taxpayer. The hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
