Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on the National Emergencies Act & Presidential Powers Under the NEA

Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management Subcommittee Chairman Scott Perry (R-PA) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing on the National Emergencies Act (NEA) and the presidential powers associated with it. The hearing, entitled “Never Ending Emergencies – An Examination of the National Emergency Act,” will be the first ever hearing by the Subcommittee on the NEA, and will be held at 10:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
