Aviation Subcommittee to Hold Next FAA Reauthorization Hearing on the Evolution of Flight and New Entrants in the Aviation System

Aviation Subcommittee Chairman Garret Graves (R-LA) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing next week focused on new entrants and developing technologies in the U.S. aviation system. This will be the fourth hearing held in the Committee’s preparation for passing a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reauthorization bill this year. Previous hearings have focused on aviation safety, general aviation (GA), and passenger experience.

The hearing, entitled, “FAA Reauthorization: Harnessing the Evolution of Flight to Deliver for the American People,” will be held at 10:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, March 30, 2023, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
