Participant Added: Counter UAS Issues to be Focus of Aviation Subcommittee Roundtable

Washington, DC – The Subcommittee on Aviation, chaired by Rep. Frank LoBiondo (R-NJ), will hold a roundtable discussion on emerging issues related to the domestic use of counter UAS systems.

Roundtable participants will include:

  • Ms. Angela Stubblefield, Deputy Associate Administrator for Security and Hazardous Materials Safety, Federal Aviation Administration
  • Mr. Steven Mucklow, Special Assistant to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense Integration and Defense Support of Civil Authorities
  • Mr. David Silver, Vice President, Civil Aviation, Aerospace Industries Association (AIA)
  • Ms. Lisa Ellman, Co-executive Director, Commercial Drone Alliance
  • Douglas Johnson, Vice President for Technology Policy, Consumer Technology Association

The Subcommittee roundtable, entitled “Counter UAS Issues,” is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building. 

The roundtable is open to the public and news media, and will be webcast, however video recording is not permitted during the roundtable.  Additional background information and a link to the live webcast will be posted here as they become available.
