Nehls (R-TX), and Aviation Subcommittee Ranking Member Steve Cohen (D-TN) on today’s crash of an Air India flight from Ahmedabad, India to London, England: 

“Our prayers are with the victims of the Air India Flight 171 accident and their loved ones, as well as with the first responders who continue their search for survivors.  We are in touch with the NTSB, FAA, and Boeing and are monitoring the circumstances of this tragic accident. While we all want to know what caused this terrible accident, it is important to let investigators do their work, and we discourage speculation about potential causes until we have more concrete information.”
