UPDATE: Time Change for Subcommittee Hearing on Oversight of Positive Train Control ImplementationWashington, DC – Tomorrow, the Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials will hold a hearing to examine the implementation of Positive Train Control (PTC) on America’s freight and passenger rail network. The Subcommittee will hear testimony from representatives of government, safety, industry, and labor on the status of this important safety technology. The hearing of the Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials, chaired by U.S. Rep. Jeff Denham (R-CA), is entitled, “Oversight of Positive Train Control Implementation in the United States.” The hearing is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
