Subcommittee Hearing to Examine National Preparedness System and Capabilities

The Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management will hold its first hearing of the 115th Congress Thursday to assess the development, successes, and challenges of the National Preparedness System and to examine national preparedness capabilities.

This hearing of the Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management, chaired by U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta (R-PA), is entitled: “Building a 21st Century Infrastructure for America: The National Preparedness System.”  The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
