Transportation and Infrastructure Committee to Mark Up Legislation to Dramatically Reform FEMA and to Reauthorize and Expand Counter-UAS AuthoritiesTransportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO) announced that the full Committee will hold a markup at 10:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building. The Committee will consider legislation to provide the most robust legislative reform of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and federal disaster assistance programs in decades. The Committee will also take up legislation to renew and reform current legal authorities that provide the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) with critical tools to mitigate credible threats posed by unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).
