Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on Coast Guard Acquisitions and Infrastructure

Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee Chairman Mike Ezell (R-MS) announced that the Subcommittee, as part of the T&I Committee’s ongoing series of “America Builds” hearings, will hold a hearing to examine the U.S. Coast Guard’s recapitalization efforts. The hearing will specifically focus on major surface assets including the Offshore Patrol Cutters (OPC) and Polar Security Cutters (PSC), rotary wing aircraft, shoreside infrastructure, and Information Technology (IT).  The hearing will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
