Aviation Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on Counter-Unmanned Aircraft SystemsWashington, D.C. – Aviation Subcommittee Chairman Troy E. Nehls (R-TX) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing this week to examine the existing federal counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) authorities that permit certain federal agencies to detect and mitigate unauthorized or unlawful UAS operations, as well as the potential extensions and expansion of those authorities. The hearing, entitled, “Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems,” will be held at 10:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building. Witness List:
