Joint statement of Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO), Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Ranking Member Rick Larsen (D-WA), Aviation Subcommittee Chairman Troy E. Nehls (R-TX), and Aviation Subcommittee Ranking Member Steve Cohen (D-TN) on last night’s crash of a Learjet 55 aircraft in Philadelphia: 

“During this already heartbreaking moment for our aviation system and the flying public, we have been monitoring developments regarding last night’s crash of an aeromedical flight in Philadelphia. As we continue to learn more details, our prayers are with those who were onboard, their families and loved ones, and those who were on the ground at the area of the crash site. We are grateful for the first responders on scene and for the thousands of aviation professionals who tirelessly work every day to keep the American people safe.  As with Wednesday’s crash, it’s important to refrain from speculating about the cause of this accident until the facts are known.”
