Graves Welcomes New T&I Republican Members for the 119th CongressWashington, D.C. – Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO) today welcomed 12 new Republican Members who will serve on the Committee in the 119th Congress. The list of Members has been recommended by the Republican Steering Committee and is expected to be officially approved by the House. One Republican vacancy will be filled at a later date. “Members of Congress seek out a seat on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee because the work we do has real and meaningful impacts on the daily lives of Americans. The Committee has a full agenda in the 119th Congress, and we look forward to working with our colleagues in the Senate and President Trump to improve our infrastructure, the flow of commerce, and the ability of our constituents to get from one place to another quickly and safely. I’m eager for the new Members of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee to roll up their sleeves and contribute to our important work in the coming two years,” said Graves.
