Graves, Rouzer Ask the EPA to Extend the Comment Deadline in Applying Supreme Court’s County of Maui v. Hawaii Wildlife Fund Decision
Washington, D.C. – On December 21, Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO) and Water Resources and Environment Subcommittee Chairman David Rouzer (R-NC) sent a letter to the Assistant Administrator for Water at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), requesting a 60-day extension of the comment deadline for applying the Supreme Court’s County of Maui v. Hawaii Wildlife Fund Decision in the Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 402 National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit Program to discharges through groundwater.
