Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on the Recapitalization & Modernization of Coast Guard Assets

Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee Chairman Daniel Webster (R-FL) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing on the Coast Guard’s asset recapitalization efforts, specifically focusing on the Service’s efforts to modernize its surface assets, including the Offshore Patrol Cutters (OPC) and Polar Security Cutters (PSC), air assets, shoreside infrastructure, and Information Technology (IT). The hearing will be held at 2:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 27, 2023, in 2253 Rayburn House Office Building.
