Statement from Ranking Member Sam Graves (R-MO): “The FAA is the world’s leading aviation safety agency, and I continue to stand by that.  I support the decisions of their experts as they continue to gather and analyze data and evidence from this tragic accident.  Now it is important that we get all the additional facts through this investigation to determine exactly what happened and what next steps may be necessary to address any issues and get these aircraft safely back in service.  My Committee directly oversees the FAA and DOT and we will do our part to ensure we understand the agency’s process and how it reached its decisions.”
