Committee to Examine Necessity of Billions of Dollars in Courthouse Construction CostsWashington, DC – Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Chairman Bill Shuster (R-PA) will lead a hearing next Wednesday focused on whether billions of dollars in proposed new federal courthouse construction is justified. The Government Accountability Office (GAO) will release a new report in conjunction with the Committee’s hearing. The hearing, entitled “GAO Review: Are Additional Federal Courthouses Justified?” is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
