This is a roundtable meeting of the Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management Subcommittee on the rising toll of disasters in the United States, both in terms of human lives and the loss of property.  The roundtable will examine data and information related to disaster costs and losses, the trends observed over time, and the projections for the future given the policies in place today.
