This is an Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management Subcommittee roundtable with emergency management stakeholders to discuss options for fixing and reforming the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and to ensure that federal emergency assistance is provided efficiently and effectively to impacted communities and disaster victims.

This roundtable comes as President Trump’s Council to Assess the Federal Emergency Management Agency is set to hold its second scheduled meeting on July 9th, and as the Committee continues to gather input on a discussion draft bill to significantly reform FEMA released in May by Committee Chairman Sam Graves (R-MO) and Committee Ranking Member Rick Larsen (D-WA).
