A vibrant, competitive aviation sector is a critical part of our national transportation network and will play an important role in making America’s infrastructure ready to take on the challenges of the 21st century.  That is why the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee is committed to reauthorizing and reforming the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the 115th Congress. The Committee continues to gather input from the aviation community and other stakeholders, hold hearings, and work toward a comprehensive FAA reauthorization bill that gives the average American flier a safe and more efficient aviation system and keeps America the world leader in aviation, a form of transportation we pioneered.
