Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on Pipeline Safety Reauthorization Needs

Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials Subcommittee Chairman Troy Nehls (R-TX) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing to examine current legislative proposals to reauthorize the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s (PHMSA) pipeline safety programs. The hearing will provide Members with the opportunity to hear testimony from pipeline stakeholder organizations and PHMSA on critical pipeline safety issues at the agency and how reauthorization legislation can address those concerns. The hearing will be held at 10:15 a.m. ET on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
