Subcommittee to Hold Hearing on Policies and Programs Impacting Rural Infrastructure

Highways and Transit Subcommittee Chairman Rick Crawford (R-AR) announced that the Subcommittee will hold a hearing to hear from stakeholders regarding the importance of federal highway and transit programs for rural areas, the unique challenges facing these communities, and implementation of Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) programs meant to aid rural communities. The hearing entitled “Rural Transportation Challenges: Stakeholder Perspectives,” will be held at 10:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, March 21, 2024, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
