Coast Guard Subcommittee Hearing to Focus on Authorization of Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Programs

Washington, DC – The Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation will hold hearing next week to examine Coast Guard and federal maritime transportation programs, in preparation for an authorization bill later this Congress.

The Subcommittee will hear from the Coast Guard, the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC), and the Maritime Administration (MARAD).

This hearing of the Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation, chaired by U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter, Jr. (R-CA), is entitled: “Authorization of Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Programs.” The hearing is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
