T&I and Armed Services Joint Subcommittee Hearing on Naval Cooperative Strategy

The Transportation and Infrastructure Committee’s Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee, and the Armed Services Committee’s Seapower and Projection Forces Subcommittee will hold a joint hearing next week to review the latest unified maritime security strategy, and examine how the Nation’s naval forces intend to implement the updated strategy.

The Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee is chaired by U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) and the Seapower and Projection Forces Subcommittee is chaired by U.S. Rep. J. Randy Forbes (R-VA).  The subcommittees will hear from the United States Coast Guard, the United States Navy, and the United States Marine Corps.

The hearing, entitled “Naval Cooperative Strategy,” is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in 2118 Rayburn House Office Building.
