Purpose of the Hearing

The Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment met on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., in room 2167 of the Rayburn House Office building to receive testimony on the opportunities and challenges in the creation of a Clean Water Trust Fund.  This hearing will be the first of several hearings related to addressing the need for increased investment in wastewater infrastructure improvements, and meeting the water quality goals of the Clean Water Act.
