Purpose of the Hearing

The Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation met on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at 1:00 p.m., in room 2167 of the Rayburn House Office building to receive testimony regarding the National Maritime Center (NMC) and merchant mariner credentials (MMC).  This hearing is a follow-up to a hearing convened by the Subcommittee on the same topic July 9, 2009.
